Ask Damian Lillard. Ask Draymond Green. Now, Fred Hoiberg, the man expected to be named the Chicago Bulls’ new coach, is finding out.

A couple years ago, Hoiberg made fun of Bulls post player Joakim Noah’s funky-looking jump shot on Twitter.
It was funny commentary from Hoiberg, the men’s basketball coach at Iowa State. He made his way into the Cyclones’ record books as a player with a textbook jumper that also afforded him a 10-year career in the NBA, including four with the Bulls.
Noah might not like the joke but he could use some help from Hoiberg, who shot nearly 40 percent from 3-point range during his pro career.
The seven-year veteran is coming off his worst offensive season since 2008-2009, his second year in the league. In 2014-2015, Noah averaged just 7.2 points per game while shooting 44.5 percent from the field and 60.3 from the free-throw line, both career-lows. They’re professionals, and it’s probably all water under the bridge now, but it could make for an interesting exchange the first time Hoiberg and Noah get together on the court.
